Well, it is still happening from time to time, but it is nowhere near as bad as it was before.
Question - Would the BCM on these have any role in starting the car? Basically I'm wondering if the signal (or resistor) chip in the key is triggered through the BCM at all to send a signal or activiate the starter. That is is the part of my question. The reason is, every now and than, I will get in my car, turn it on (all power comes on), but when I turn the key to start it, nothing happens. There is no click or anything. That might happen several times in a row through out the day, so the vehicle basically will not start all day long. Though I'll go out and try it, without having done anything to the car, and all of a sudden it will start right up and not have any problems again. Then it might happen all over again a few weeks later. So any ideas?

I just re-read this post because i'm still having some issues with the radio cutting out. What I just realized, that I hadn't reall picked up on before, is that camman475 actually took the BCM completely out and opened it up to clean the inside connections on the circuit board. It was the connections on the inside of the BCM that you cleaned as well as the connection pins for the plugs, I'm I correct on this??? Because that could be part of my problem still. Though with just removing the plug, cleaning it, and reconnecting it did help out tremendously!!!!
